  •  Short Dictation & Dictation Check

  • 30 min Webcam Lecture

Student Activities/Assignments

  • Read the article (pdf/web)

  • Listen to article’s Youtube audio

  • Watch the professor’s webcam lecture

  • Take a dictation

    • Listen to the audio.

    • Write/Type the sentences as you listen.

    • Upload the file.

  • Record the answers to the comprehension questions at the end of the article.

    • Upload the file.

  • Scored Multiple choice:

    • Vocabulary

  • Scored Multiple choice:

    • Choose the correct sentence

  • Topic Discussion/Chat

    • Join the online discussion about a topic related to the article

    • Everybody must contribute at least twice

  • Oral Assignment:

    • Make an audio file (mp3, m4a, aac, wav)

    • Summarize the article in your own words in less than 2 minutes.

    • Upload the audio file
